In my work I look at the role that narratives play in the expression of culture and identity. Using my history and heritage as inspiration, I create my own rituals, artifacts, monuments, and mythos. Where I try to express the stories and history that shapes my narrative. I look at the different aspects of my identity and question the role they play into how I see myself. Often tackling subjects such as; the afro-diaspora, personal and collective memory, colonialism, cultural-identity, religion and spirituality.
